Systematic Blogging
is my answer to taking the struggle out of making money on the Net. That doesn’t mean you don’t have to work hard. You do.
It does mean you don’t have to make all the mistakes I did.
You can have fun as a blogger and make money doing it.
It’s Really a Good Time to Start Blogging
Reason # 1: A Lot of People Read Blogs Regularly.
According to Hubspot do people read blogs:
“Other research suggests that nearly 80% of internet users interact with them regularly.”
The estimated global number of blogs is over 600 million. 32.7 million is the projected number of bloggers in the US.
People like to use blogs:
- to stay current.
- and as an information resource.
You Might Be Thinking:
There are so many existing blogs, isn’t it too late to get in the game?
That’s a reasonable question to ask because there is a lot of competition.
If you think about it, competition is a good thing. Why?
- It means that a lot of bloggers are making money.
- Its also means the market is large enough to support 32.7 million US bloggers and it’s growing.
This means publishing a blog is a great way to reach a large audience and is a relatively inexpensive way to do it – once you get established.
It’s important to create good content and promote that content until you establish a solid flow organic traffic from Google searches.
Reason # 2: Technology Is Way Better Now
Technology is WAY better than it used to be. It’s faster, it is significantly more powerful and it’s cheap.
What took days or weeks to get done in the past can be done in a matter of hours today. Many of the normal required tasks can be automated, semi-automated and scheduled in advance.
Reason # 3: Diverse Support Is Available
We’re here to help you to get started and we’ll be here to help as you grow.
Pretty much every type of support mechanism you might need is already available:
- marketing expertise.
- content providers (people and companies) who will write articles for you or create 100 3 minute videos about your niche.
- web designers and graphic artists.
- email marketing apps.
- accounting and bookkeeping.
- traffic analytic experts and link building.
- funnel creators, landing page experts and conversion experts.
- and on and on.
If you need something done, someone out there can help you. So fundamentally that means not knowing how to do something should no longer hamper you from succeeding.
Reason #4: The Barriers to Entry Are Low
You can start on a shoestring and work your way up.
If you’re well capitalized, you can starting building a business right out of the gate.
You can use tech to your advantage without having to understand how tech works. You just need to learn what it can do for you.
But you don’t have to create it or be a techie to use it effectively.
This was not really an option in the past.
What you need to start a blog.
- A Registered Domain – the name of your blog.
- Web hosting platform – where your blog lives.
- Blogging software (or platform) like WordPress.
- Lots of content.
- Search Engine Optimization.
- Ways to generate income.
That’s kind of a generic list but it covers most of the basics.
